Modern and innovative design: Antonio Belloni’s idea
Within the company, the planning and design office deals with custom-made projects, from the primary elaboration and definition to the final delivery of complete design furniture, to fulfil any of the customer’s needs. We are also in charge of designing and manufacturing samples and furniture prototypes.

“A collection which I strongly desired.
I felt the need to produce a brand-new line, which could represent my concept of modernity and innovation.
That is where the idea of our logo comes from: by combining the traditional name “Belloni” with the word 5TH UDIO, I am proud to highlight my belonging to the legacy.
In 2015, a great passion for electric mobility and e-bikes inspires him in the development of new models of this innovative bicycle. The production of the first carbon-fiber prototypes allows him to deepen his knowledge of this composite material, which he later integrates in the production of furniture.
That is how Essenza pura comes to life: an ebike which combines technology and traditional mastery in the field of woodworking.
Selected by ADI Index 2019, Essenza pura has competed in the 2020 edition of the Compasso d’Oro award, in the category mobility design.
Antonio Belloni’s bio
My name is Antonio Belloni, and I am an architect
I work for my family business, Belloni srl. We are well-established design furniture makers, and we have been operating in the field since 1875.
I am responsible for the design and manufacture of samples and prototypes.
Besides creating and designing through cad3d graphic systems, I have mastered the use of 5-axis CNC machines, which allow me to carry out the early stages of design and sample in total autonomy.
My creative effort is not limited to the processing of wood: throughout the years I have chosen to work several different materials, such as methacrylate and composite materials, which I have integrated in our production, thus conceiving the Belloni Studio Collection.
I am a great enthusiast of e-biking and electric mobility. In 2015 I started designing my own models, I owe to this passion the chance I have had to deepen and perfection the use of composite materials, producing the first prototypes of carbon-fiber e-bikes.
In 2018 I decided to merge all what best represents me in one single concept. That was how the Essenza Pura e-bike came to life: a perfect combination between technology and mastery in the field of woodworking.
Progress and new technologies have totally revolutionised our tradition of classical furniture makers, allowing us to evolve from classical luxury to modern and contemporary furniture style.
